KENALI APA ITU BATIK.

Batik merujuk kepada proses menghasilkan kain dengan menggunakan teknik terapan lilin bagi menghasilkan reka corak yang kemudian dicelup dengan pelbagai warna yang menarik. Reka corak serta penggunaan bahan-bahan baru telah menyemarakkan lagi pengeluaran batik. Batik yang dihasilkan di Negara ini telah Berjaya menembusi dunia fesyen antara bangsa.

Kebiasaanya reka corak dan motif-motif batik di inspirasikan dari alam semulajadi seperti flora dan fauna yang kemudiannya digabung dengan batik menggunakan teknik canting, batik blok dan batik sutera saring. Di Malaysia kini batik telah diangkat sebagai salah satu daripada seni warisan bangsa yang menjadi kebanggaan negara.
